Sauna bathing became a part of my life when I was seeking some kind of personal growth. I remember that day when my colleagues were delivering a sauna to Asalnai campsite and suddenly I understood this was the thing I wanted to learn more about. In 2022 I graduated from Perkunija steam bath school. I am now a member of The society of Lithuanian steam bath fellows. I offer rituals to groups as well as to private people at Asalnai bath, on the lake shore.
I strongly believe that all those connections we make through the Nature are very special. In order to strengthen them I use a lot of different plants and products out of nature during my program.
My sauna program is usually divided into 4 following sessions:
𝐈 – ritual of the 1st steam, getting to know it and a sensitive touch of a birch. We will warm up our bodies and enjoy the smells of herbs.
𝐈𝐈 – attention to the salt: inhalation, cleaning of respiratory tract, peeling of the body with a scrub made by me out of nature.
𝐈𝐈𝐈 – the dance of forest birches, their rustle. Everyone will be given a birch. We will heat our bodies by whipping them. After this session I will invite you for a dip in a lake/ice-hole (depending on the season)
𝐈𝐕 – let the vision of the last session be a secret.
It is very important to me to create a cozy and safe atmosphere in the steam bath, so you can travel through your feelings, stay calm and safe. Steam bath is a perfect place not only to wash yourself, but to relax and spend some time focusing on ourselves. After spending some quality time in a steam bath, we feel refreshed, reborn and more connected to mother Earth. Usually when you walk out from a session at sauna, you might experience some changes in your daily routine and feel like a whole new person.
