A walk through the world of fungi

Price: 450€
Duration: 3 hours
Group size: up to 17 people (a smaller group is possible, but price remains the same)

Step into the fascinating world of fungi!

Do you enjoy mushroom foraging? Or perhaps you simply love spending time in nature and would like to learn more about the fungi that surround us at every step? Most people recognize only the common edible or poisonous mushrooms, but that’s just a small glimpse of the vast fungal kingdom.

During this walk, you’ll learn to spot mushrooms of the most unusual shapes and colors and hear fascinating stories about the clever strategies mushrooms use to thrive and spread. We’ll explore the crucial role fungi play in forest ecosystems and our daily lives – from food to groundbreaking sustainable solutions. You’ll be surprised to discover that without fungi, the world as we know it wouldn’t exist!

This is more than just an educational walk – it’s a chance to experience nature from a whole new perspective. After this experience, you’ll never see the forest the same way again!

We’ll be walking through the forest near Asalnai campsite, covering approximately 3-4 km. This educational walk will be guided by Aurelija Plūkė, who is a fungi educator, blogger, amateur mycologist, and ambassador for the “Sengirė” Foundation.
