Visiting a local artisan in his “Flying forge” will be an interesting experience not only for adults, but for little ones too.
Raimundas Žievys – our highly recommended blacksmith, who makes useful items as well as personal orders out of various metals. Raimundas is a great person to go through an educational program about metalwork with. He not only gives you every tool needed to make something yourself, but also offers a unique opportunity to have a look at his handmade wooden plane which took him over 10 years to build. He has a few interesting things to show you at his airfield as well!
During the workshop you will:
- get to know the basics of (black) smith’s job;
- create your unique item/talisman yourself;
- visit an exposition.
