Song circle with Goda Siaudinyte
This song circle is a live mix of voices, music and the feeling of unity. Through traditional and folk Lithuanian songs we sooth, unite and invite you to deepen the connection with yourself. These songs will remind you how easy and fulfilling it is to simply be here, sing, listen and share. We not only meet ourselves, but see and hear others and find the ways to look back to our ancestors. Song Circle opens up an opportunity to explore and discover your own voice, find yourself in a state of peace and experience the special bond that songs create.
Goda invites you to dive into the power encoded in the songs of our ancestors and sutartinės (the Lithuanian multipart songs) – to feel peace, discover the strength of the voice and immerse yourself in the gentle, magical flow of sounds.
No singing experience is needed. It is important to be here instead of “knowing how”.
🎤 About me:
I am Goda Siaudinyte – a performer and creator, who is searching for the inner voice which helps to connect with the inside world. Music has been a big part of my whole life: I graduated from the Bronius Jonušas Music School, attended the Arturas Novikas Jazz School and studied with vocal teacher and voice leader Gina Kazlauskaitė, one of the founders of “Jara Sound Lab”. For over 8 years now, I’ve been a member of the ritual folklore “Kulgrinda”, which helped me to deepen my roots in the sound of the Baltic culture. Lithuanian folk and traditional songs to me are a pure connection with myself, the Earth and with other people. They help me to calm my mind, feel the heart and unite with others.
