The echoes of SUTARTINĖS in the sauna
This lovely experience consisted of Sutartinės (Lithuanian multipart songs) circle and sauna ritual. Through the power of voice, we will open pathways to the World of the Ancestors, and with gentle touches of birch whisks we will revive our bodies and souls.
This will be a safe and perfect space for sound, air, fire, water, and earth to merge together.
The whole experience is going to be led by professional sauna master Eglė Šilinikaitė together with performer and member of the “Kūlgrinda” ensemble, Goda Šiaudinytė, who will begin the circle of SUTARTINĖS.
Goda will guide participants into the harmony of voice, rhythm, and heart. These multipart songs will invite us to reconnect with our roots, to open up in the community, and to sense the living spirit of our ancestors.
After the circle, we will move to the sauna, where Eglė will take care of everyone’s inner warmth and, with gentle touches of the sauna whisks, help release tension and renew our souls.

What to take with you
- Some snacks (better to choose pickled vegetables or fresh fruits)
- Your own instrument (if needed)
- Sauna clothes, if needed (we recommend wearing clothes out of natural materials. You can also wear a sauna skirt/dress or swimming trunks)
- 2-3 towels
- Bathrobe
- Warm socks or knitted slippers which you will wear in between the sessions
